Children’s Product Recalls lists recalls of children’s products by category, so it is easy to find the information you need about the product you want. There are so many recalls of products that are not widely publicized, so it’s hard for busy parents to keep up with them. Some stores will post recall information about products they carry, but the information is not always posted in a place where it is visible or easy to spot.
When trying to find information on product recalls for my mommy blog, Mommy Melting Pot, I was alarmed at the lack of resources available for parents. The few web sites that do list information are either difficult to search or not updated frequently, which is why I decided to start this blog.
All information is taken from the press releases issued on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission web site and organized by category to make it easier to find. Pictures are included when possible. It is my hope that parents use this as a resource to stay informed on products that may harm their children. We all want to keep our kids safe.
