<p><strong>Description: </strong>The recalled Bumbleride Indie strollers are model numbers I-107, I-110 and I-205 with a DOM (Date of Manufacture) from January 2009 through August 2011 sold in multiple colors. The DOM (Date of Manufacture) can be found on a white rectangular sticker affixed to the side of the seat frame. The recalled Bumbleride Indie Twin strollers are model numbers IT-108, IT-111, and IT-305 with a DOM (Date of Manufacture) from January 2009 through August 2011 sold in multiple colors. The DOM (Date of Manufacture) can be found on a white rectangular sticker affixed to the underside of the handle.</p>
<p><strong>Sold at: </strong>Buy Buy Baby and other baby product stores nationwide, online at Bumbleride.com, and other online retailers between January 2009 and January 2012 for between $500 and $700.</p>

<p><strong>Hazard: </strong>The front swivel wheels can lock while the stroller is in motion, causing the stroller to tip and posing a fall hazard.</p>
<p><strong>Incidents/Injuries: </strong>Four incidents have been reported where the stroller’s swivel wheels locked and the stroller tipped over. In two of these incidents, a baby and a toddler suffered minor injuries.</p>
<p><strong>Description: </strong>The recalled strollers are made for newborns and toddlers up to 37 pounds. They are sold in two frame colors: silver and all black. The stroller’s seat comes in black or denim colors and canopy colors include yellow, black, khaki, blue, pink and red, plus special collections colors such as tangerine, soft pink, light green, dark purple, denim and the Missoni print collection. Production dates from January 2011 through September 2011, which are printed with the month abbreviated and year, i.e “Jan. 2011”, the “Bugaboo Bee” name and company address are printed on the date code label located on the stroller frame under the seat unit. “Bugaboo Bee” is also printed on the side of the seat backrest.</p>
<p><strong>Sold by: </strong>Toys R Us, Buy Buy Baby and other baby product stores nationwide, online at Bugaboo.com and other online retailers between February 2011 and September 2011 for about $650.</p>

<p><strong>Hazard: </strong>The stroller canopy&#8217;s embroidered logo&#8217;s backing patch can detach, posing a choking hazard to babies and young children.</p>
<p><strong>Incidents/Injuries: </strong>The firm has received six reports of children mouthing the detached patch. Gagging and choking were reported in two incidents. The backing was removed from the children&#8217;s mouth without injury. In each of the reported incidents, the children were seated in an infant car seat attached to the stroller.</p>
<p><strong>Description: </strong>This recall involves all B.O.B. strollers manufactured between November 1998 and November 2010. Strollers manufactured after October 2006 have a white label affixed to the back of the stroller&#8217;s leg with the manufacturing date. Strollers with no manufacturing date listed were produced prior to October 2006 and are included in this recall. The strollers were sold in single seat and double-seat models. The BOB®, Ironman® or Stroller Strides® brand name is embroidered on the canopy of the strollers.</p>
<p><strong>Sold at: </strong>REI, Babies R&#8217; Us and other children&#8217;s product and sporting goods stores nationwide and Amazon.com between November 1998 and October 2011 for between $280 and $600.</p>

<p><strong>Description: </strong>The recalled strollers have metal frames and were sold as single strollers or with a doubles kit to make them double strollers. The Explorer has three wheels and the Hammerhead has four. Both have a cloth seat and canopy. Explorer strollers were sold in the following colors: black, apple green, navy, red/black and apple green/black. Hammerhead strollers were sold in black only. The phil&amp;teds logo is located on the crotch piece of the harness on both models. The strollers have the text “phil&amp;teds model EX explorer” or “phil&amp;teds model HH hammerhead” printed on a sticker on the rear axle bar. The serial numbers run consecutively with the month and year followed by the unit number. Affected serial numbers: 0610/0001 to 0111/4788 (June 2010, unit #1, to January 2011, unit #4788). This information can be found on a sticker attached to the inside of the left hand hinge when viewing the stroller from behind.</p>
<p><strong>Sold by: </strong>Sold online at philandteds.com, pishposhbaby.com, and albeebaby.com; and at Babies R Us and specialty juvenile retailers in the United States and Canada from August 2010 through June 2011 for between $475 and $500.</p>

<p><strong>Remedy: </strong>Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact phil&amp;teds to arrange to receive a upgraded brake assembly. Explorer owners will receive a new frame fitted with an upgraded brake assembly. Consumers can perform an in-home swap out of the affected frame. Hammerhead owners will receive a pre-paid return shipping container in order to return the stroller to phil&amp;teds where the brake assembly will be replaced and the stroller returned.</p>

<p><strong>Incidents/Injuries: </strong>Britax has received seven reports of the brake not being fully engaged. No injuries have been reported.</p>
<p><strong>Description: </strong>This recall involves B-Nimble umbrella strollers manufactured on or after August 1, 2010. Strollers included in the recall have model numbers U311771, U311773, U311775 and U311780. The date of manufacture labels and model numbers can be found on the lower frame/tube on either the left or the right side. The strollers were sold in a variety of colors including black and silver, Cowmooflage (black and white), green and red.</p>

<p><strong>Hazard: </strong>The stroller&#8217;s hinge mechanism poses a fingertip amputation and laceration hazard to the child when the consumer is unfolding/opening the stroller.</p>
<p><strong>Incidents/Injuries: </strong>Maclaren has received a total of 149 reported incidents with the strollers, including 37 reported injuries that occurred after the stroller was recalled in November 2009. These reported injuries include five additional fingertip amputations, 16 additional lacerations and 16 additional fingertip entrapments/bruising. At the time of the original recall, there were 15 incidents, including 12 reports of fingertip amputations in the United States.</p>
<p><strong>Description: </strong>This reannouncement involves all Maclaren single and double umbrella strollers sold prior to November 2009. The word &#8220;Maclaren&#8221; is printed on the stroller. Maclaren strollers sold after May 2010 have a different hinge design and are not affected by this announcement.</p>
<p><strong>Sold at: </strong>Juvenile product and mass merchandise retailers nationwide from 1999 through November 2009 for between $100 and $360.</p>

<p><strong>Description: </strong>This recall involves the following 11 models of B.O.B.® single and double strollers. The name &#8220;B.O.B&#8221; appears on the cargo basket under the stroller and on the front of the stroller. All of the recalled strollers have a yellow/orange drawstring at the rear of the canopy which is used to gather loose fabric when the canopy is pulled back. Strollers have the serial number either stamped in the frame or on a white label located on the stroller&#8217;s rear right leg.</p>

<p><strong>Incidents/Injuries: </strong>phil&amp;teds has received three reports of incidents resulting in injuries to the adult users including a finger tip amputation and two reports of lacerations.</p>
<p><strong>Description: </strong>This recall involves sport v2 and classic v1 model single-seat jogging strollers. The three-wheel strollers have a metal frame, cloth seat and a canopy. The sport v2 model stroller was sold in red, orange, green, black, charcoal, navy and in graffiti print. Sport v2 serial numbers included in the recall are 0308/0001 to 0510/0840. The classic v1 model strollers were only sold in red. Serial numbers for the classic v1 are 0308/0001 to 0510/0906. The first four digits of the serial number is a month/year date code and the last four digits are for the individual stroller. Serial numbers are printed on the inside of the folding hinge. The phil&amp;teds logo is located on the crotch piece of the harness on both models.</p>
<p><strong>Sold by: </strong>Specialty juvenile stores nationwide from May 2008 through July 2010 for between $350 and $450.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h2>Four Infant Strangulation Deaths Reported</h2>
<p>The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with Graco Children’s Products Inc., of Atlanta, Ga., is announcing the recall of about 2 million Graco strollers due to risk of entrapment and strangulation. CPSC and Graco have received four reports of infant strangulations that occurred in these strollers between 2003 and 2005. In addition, CPSC is aware of five reports of infants becoming entrapped, resulting in cuts and bruises, and one report of an infant having difficulty breathing.</p>
<p>Entrapment and strangulation can occur, especially to infants younger than 12 months of age, when a child is not harnessed. An infant can pass through the opening between the stroller tray and seat bottom, but his/her head and neck can become entrapped by the tray. Infants who become entrapped at the neck are at risk of strangulation.</p>
<p>The recall involves older versions of the Graco Quattro Tour™ and MetroLite™ strollers and travel systems manufactured prior to the existence of the January 2008 voluntary industry standard which addresses the height of the opening between the stroller’s tray and the seat bottom. This voluntary standard requires larger stroller openings that prevent infant entrapment and strangulation hazards.</p>
<p>This recall involves Graco Quattro Tour™ strollers and travel systems manufactured prior to November 2006 and MetroLite™ strollers and travel systems manufactured prior to July 2007. The strollers and travel systems were distributed between November 2000 and December 2007. The model numbers are printed on a label at the lower portion of the rear frame, just above the rear wheels or underneath the stroller. The name “Graco” appears on a label on the stroller tray and the headrest. Models included in the recall are:</p>

<p><strong>NOTE:</strong> Quattro and MetroLite strollers ending with the number 3 are NOT affected by this recall.</div>
<p>The strollers were sold at AAFES, Babies R Us, Burlington Coat Factory, Fred Meyer, Meijers, Navy Exchange, Sears, Target, Walmart and other stores nationwide between November 2000 and December 2007 for between $90 and $190 for the strollers, and between $190 and $250 for travel systems.</p>
<p>The strollers were manufactured in China.</p>
<p>Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact Graco for a free repair kit. To order a repair kit, contact Graco toll-free at (877) 828-4046 anytime, or visit the firm’s website at <a href="http://www.gracobaby.com/SafetyAndRecall/Pages/SafetyAndRecallNotification.aspx?page=SafetyAndRecall">www.gracobaby.com</a>. Consumers can continue use of the stroller as a “travel system.” When the stroller is used with the infant car seat, the entrapment and strangulation hazards posed by the space gap are not present.</p>

<p><strong>Hazard: </strong>The opening between the grab bar and seat bottom of the stroller can allow an infant’s body to pass through and become entrapped at the neck by the grab bar, posing a strangulation hazard to young children when a child is not harnessed. When using a stroller, parents and caregivers are encouraged to always secure children by using the safety harness and never to leave them unattended.
