<p><strong>Hazard: </strong>The jackets contain drawstrings which pose strangulation and entrapment hazards to young children. In February 1996, CPSC issued <a href="http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/pubs/208.pdf">guidelines</a> (pdf), which were incorporated into an industry voluntary standard in 1997, to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck and waist drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets and sweatshirts.</p>
<p><strong>Incidents/Injuries: </strong>None reported.</p>
<p><strong>Description: </strong>This recall involves children’s windbreaker jackets with drawstrings in the hoods. The jackets were sold in red, blue, and multi-colored (purple, blue, yellow, green, light blue) in sizes 12 months to 4T. The style number is 11-3706-730 and is located both on the price ticket and care instructions.</p>
<p><strong>Sold at: </strong>Bloomingdale’s Department Store in New York from August 2010 to November 2010 for about $80.00.</p>

The cardigans were sold in pink, brown and black, and in children&#8217;s sizes 4-14. &#8220;LiLi Gaufrette MADE IN FRANCE&#8221; is printed on the tag sewn inside the garment, and &#8220;LiLi&#8221; is printed on the tag sewn onto the left front pocket.</p>
<p><strong>Sold at: </strong>Patty Cake in Nashville, TN, as part of a 3 piece set for about $300.00, and Shaindy&#8217;s Children&#8217;s Wear in Monsey, N.Y. as a cardigan for about $60.00 from September 2008 to February 2010.</p>

<p><strong>Hazard: </strong>The sweatshirts have drawstrings through the hoods, posing a strangulation hazard to children. In February 1996, CPSC issued <a href="http://www.cpsc.gov/CPSCPUB/PUBS/208.pdf">guidelines</a> (pdf) (which were incorporated in to an industry voluntary standard in 1997) to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck and waist drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets or sweatshirts.</p>
<p><strong>Incidents/Injuries: </strong>None reported.</p>
<p><strong>Description: </strong>This recall involves boy’s hooded sweatshirts style B639BC in colors black, chocolate and charcoal. The velour sweatshirts were sold in sizes S, M, L, or XL and have the name “Beverly Hills Polo Club” on the hangtag and on the center back neck.</p>
<p><strong>Sold at: </strong>Burlington Coat Factory nationwide from September 2007 through October 2009. The sweatshirts sold for about $15.</p>
<p><strong>Manufactured in: </strong>Bangladesh</p>
<p><strong>Remedy: </strong>Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard, or return the garment any Burlington Coat Factory store for a full refund.</p>
