Manufacturer: Sandbox Medical, LLC of Pembroke, Mass.

Hazard: The clip can break apart, posing a choking hazard to young children.

Incidents/Injuries: Sandbox Medical has received two reports that the clip broke apart during use. No injuries have been reported.

Description: This recall involves the Cheaper Keeper pacifier clip that attaches a pacifier to a child’s clothing. It is a clear plastic clip secured by a pink ribbon with a velcro closure.

Sold at: Sandbox Baby’s website – www.gumdroppacifier.com – from February 2011 through March 2011 for about $3.

Manufactured in: China

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the pacifier clip and throw it away. Consumers should contact Sandbox Medical for a free replacement.

Hazard: The pacifiers fail to meet federal safety standards and pose a choking hazard to young children.

Incidents/Injuries: None reported

Description: The pacifier comes in yellow, pink or blue colors and is made of silicone. Only “Stage 1″ pacifiers are recalled. “Stage 1″ and “Ortho” or “Bulb” are printed on the package. The recalled pacifiers have an oval-shaped mouth guard and “Pampers” molded on to the handle side of the mouth guard. The product comes two per package.

Sold at: Retail stores nationwide from April 2010 through February 2011 for about $6.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled pacifiers away from infants and contact Key Baby for instructions on returning the product for a full refund or $10 coupon toward the purchase of any Pampers® Natural Stages products.

Pacifiers Recalled by Antonio Flores Due to Choking Hazard

Name of Product: Kariño Baby Pacifiers

Distributor: Antonio Flores, of San Ysidro, Calif.

Hazard: The pacifier fails to meet federal safety standards. The nipple can separate from the base easily, the pacifier handle is too long, the mouth guard is too small and there are no ventilation holes on the mouth guard. The pacifier could pose a choking and aspiration hazard to young children.

Incidents/Injuries: None reported.

Description: The pacifier has a ring-shaped handle and a round-shaped mouth guard. “Kariño” is printed on the handle side of the mouth guard, and “Mygra” is printed on one side of the handle. The nipple is filled with corn syrup.

Sold at: Independent grocery stores in California and Texas from October 2009 through March 2010 for about 25 cents.

Manufactured in: Mexico

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled pacifiers away from children and contact Antonio Flores for a refund or exchange.

Hazard: The pacifiers fail to meet federal safety standards. The pacifier mouth guard is too small, posing a choking hazard to infants and toddlers.

Description: This recall involves “Bobby Chupete” pacifiers. The pacifiers have a ring-shaped handle and heart-shaped mouth guard with two ventilation holes. The nipple is made of latex. “Bobby Chupete” and a picture of an infant are printed on the pacifier’s packaging. The pacifier was sold in aqua, red, white or yellow colors.

Sold at: Various retail stores nationwide from November 2004 through July 2009 for about $1.

Remedy: Consumer should immediately take the recalled pacifiers away from infants and toddlers and contact Grand World for a refund or a replacement pacifier.
